MITCHAM BAPTIST CHURCH

Dear Friend, 

Mitcham Baptist Church [MBC] was planted in 1881 to be a witness to the kingdom of God is South London and beyond.

We desire to be used by God to help people experience God, walk with God and serve God. We rely on the impartation God’s grace, hope, faith and love in our lives to be and become a healthy church which is focused on fulfilling God’s purposes in our generation.

MBC is a member of the London Baptist Association and the Baptist Union of Great Britain. We support the missionary work of the Baptist Missionary Society [BMS World Mission].

The purpose of MBC is reflected in our Scripture text and church motto.

Daniel 11:32

The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Our Motto is

KNOWING CHRIST AND DOING EXPLOITS
