MISSIONARY SUPPORT

MBC actively supports God's work, both at home and overseas, by prayer, interest and giving. Information is made available by missionary letters, the Church magazine, prayer meetings and the missionary noticeboard.

Our adopted missionaries are: Katy Griggs, working with Latin Link in Ecuador, working with families affected by AIDS.

Andrew & Jenny Love, working in the Amazon Basin, Brazil amongst the Indians living in the villages along the waterways.

Arthur & Louise Brown, who are studying Arabic in Beirut, Lebanon, to work with the urban poor and to train youth ministers at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary. 

We support Avelino Ferreira by prayer, now retired, but still serving in the Church in Curitiba, Brazil.

Overseas missionary societies we support include Baptist World Mission, BibleLands, Christian Aid, The Leprosy Mission, and Ukraine Christian Ministries.    Uk work regularly supported includes The Gideons, Home Mission (Baptist), and Torch Trust for the Blind.

Other societies and agencies are supported from time to time as needs arise.
